here’s the class I photographed for the silhouette project (auction fundraiser)
Ordered the valentine’s day cards from tiny prints. They arrived and the obligatory candy and pencil accessories were attached. I’m just glad I got a project done!
I love shooting at Stanford mall; lots of backgrounds, shaded areas, plenty of running around space.
Each year on the evening of Feb 14th (or whatever day the kids pass out valentine’s that given year) I look through my kids’ valentines and see all of the creative things all of the parents have done. I put them beside my safeway bought valentines with taped on lollypops (because one year we didn’t have a candy included and my daughter said I was ‘the meanest mom ever!’), and I think how mine were so uncreative! So maybe this year I’ll get on the ball.
My ‘plan’ (I say plan in quotes as I have many ‘plans’, but execute maybe 1% of said ‘plans’) is to take a picture of each kid, print it at tiny prints and include the obligatory candy. I’ll keep you posted to let you know if said ‘plan’ makes it out of the quotes phase.
